Colorado's Family Law Team is Involved in the Community

As "Colorado's Family Law Team", The Harris Law Firm strongly believes that "communities are made great by those who give". For a list of organizations supported by The Harris Law Firm, please see below:

"Communities are Made Great by Those Who Give"

When Rich Harris founded The Harris Law Firm in 1993, his goal was not only to provide the famiies of Colorado with the best legal services in domestic relations law, but also to become active within our community. Today, The Harris Law Firms' strong commitment to giving back is reflected in the many ways the attorneys and legal professionals in our Denver and Fort Collins offices donate their time. We volunteer with non-profit organizations, participate in charity events, and advocate on behalf of those in need. But perhaps first and foremost, each and every attorney at the Firm handles at least one pro bono client at all times through Metro Volunteer Lawyers (MVL). And in addition to his many volunteer activities in the community, Rich Harris has served as the Chairman of the Board of Metro Volunteer Lawyers.

The Horse Protection League (HPL)

Because they believe in humane treatment of horses as an alternative to slaughter or public auction for abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted equines, HPL's primary purpose is the prevention of animal abuse. HPL is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe home for horses, and equine education classes for adults and children. Since the organization relies primarily upon donations and volunteer labor for their support, the attorneys and staff at The Harris Law Firm have donated their time and energy as barn hands for HPL on Colorado Cares Day every year since 2005. They have happily groomed horses, mucked stalls, built fences, mended roofs, and bucked at least a million bails of hay! The Harris Law Firm currently funds HPL's quarterly newsletter, and sponsors "Romeo", a frisky Arabian gelding, to ensure he receives lots of TLC and frequent rations of carrots and apples!
