While the spirit of neighborliness was important on the frontier because neighbors were so few, it is even more important now because our neighbors are so many.

Since the organization relies primarily upon donations and volunteer labor for their support, the attorneys and staff at The Harris Law Firm have donated their time and energy as barn hands for HPL on Colorado Cares Day every year since 2005. They have happily groomed horses, mucked stalls, built fences, mended roofs, and bucked at least a million bails of hay!
