Englishman Charged with Murdering His Ex Wife

Brian Jones, former husband of Katrina Jones, will appear in court this morning charged with murder after his former wife was stabbed to death as she prepared to host her own divorce party. Police discovered the body of 34-year old mother-of-two last Friday night after being called to investigate a disturbance. Her former husband was charged with murder the following day. Ms. Jones was planning to hold her divorce party on Friday evening to celebrate the finality of the couple’s divorce, after about nine years of marriage. Research Shows that Monogamy is not for the Birds

AUSTRALASIAN gannets, seabirds that were previously believed to mate for life, apparently have a "divorce rate" that is similar to humans. The U.S. government may be the recipient of billions of dollars in court-ordered restitution under a new divorce decree between imprisoned former Cendant Corp. chairman Walter Forbes and Caren Forbes, his wife of 27 years. English Divorces Can be Uncivilized, Actually

A new study out of London has indicated that a bitter divorce in England means that one in three children will permanently lose touch with a parent, usually the father. The research also showed that one in five parents said that their primary objective during separation was to make the experience “as unpleasant as possible” for their former spouse. Jim Nantz's Wife to Receive Substantial Divorce Settlement

According to court records, CBS Sportscaster Jim Nantz, whose annual income is $7 million, will have to pay his ex-wife, Lorrie, $72,000 a month in maintenance for the rest of her life.
