California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger Creates Fee to File for Divorce

With the State of California facing a projected $40 billion shortfall over 18 months, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has created a myriad of tax and fee hikes for 2009. In addition to raising fees for traffic tickets, automobile registration and parking offenses, Californians who plan to divorce in 2009 will now have to pay a $30 fee to file.
