Charlie Sheen Should Have Supervised Parenting Time

It was no surprise to anyone that actor Charlie Sheen was unsuccessful in his attempt to obtain full custody of his twin boys, Bob and Max. In the Los Angeles courtroom this week, the judge was unimpressed when Sheen had bragged about the magnitude of his former drug use.

Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller, who like Charlie has her own share of drug problems, recently checked into a rehabilitation center after refusing to submit to a court ordered random drug test.

Despite their problems, Judge Hank Goldberg ruled to keep Charlie and Brooke's court ordered custody agreement intact, and mandated that Sheen and Mueller submit to the still random, albeit more frequent, drug tests to ensure the safety of their two sons.

The attorneys at The Harris Law Firm, one of the largest family law firms in Colorado, remarked that if Charlie Sheen was just another parent in the State of Colorado, it would have been likely that the family courts would have ordered his parenting time be supervised to ensure the safety of his children.
