Englishman Charged with Murdering His Ex Wife

Brian Jones, former husband of Katrina Jones, will appear in court this morning charged with murder after his former wife was stabbed to death as she prepared to host her own divorce party.

Police discovered the body of 34-year old mother-of-two last Friday night after being called to investigate a disturbance. Her former husband was charged with murder the following day.

Ms. Jones was planning to hold her divorce party on Friday evening to celebrate the finality of the couple’s divorce, after about nine years of marriage.

Floral tributes were placed outside the house yesterday as Mrs Jones’ family struggled to come to terms with her death.  Mrs Jones leaves two sons, Jordan, 11, and 18-year-old Thomas.
