John Cleese Divorce Settlement No Laughing Matter

Funny man John Cleese of Monty Python fame has settled his divorce from his third wife for $19.7 million, a sum that is worth more than he is. "What I find so unfair", said the Oscar nominated comedian to London's Daily Telegraph, "Is that if we both died today, her children would receive a greater inheritance than my children." The settlement stipulated that Alyce Faye Eichelberger, an American psychotherapist, will receive $13 million in cash, and additional assets worth another $6.7 million. John Cleese is dealing with his angst by making his ex one of the subjects of his new comedy routine.
