Military Divorces on the Rise

Data obtained from the American Forces Press Service reports that military divorces rose by .1 percent to 3.4 percent during 2008. There were 492 more divorces last year than in 2007. More than 25,000 marriages ended in divorce in 2008 across the military, and the US Army accounted for 10,200 of them.
