According to Bill McLeod, Colorado author of the new book "KICKIN' BUTT AS A SINGLE PARENT", it is important to spare your child's feelings by never making disparaging remarks about their other parent. Although that person may be your loathsome former partner, it is important to remember that he or she is also  your child's mom or dad. According to Bill, when you say unpleasant things about your ex in front of the children, they will remember your unfortunate comment long after you have forgotten it. Know that your remarks can come back to haunt you, so keep in mind the words of wisdom from single parent Bill McLeod:  "Keep your negative feelings about your former spouse to yourself"!
