Stephen Vertucci Supports Rotary Read

Attorney Stephen Vertucci, managing partner of The Harris Law Firm in Fort Collins, is a member of Rotary Read, a committee focused on promoting literacy in Fort Collins elementary students.  Each year, the committee raises funds to sponsor a well known children’s author to visit students to discuss their writing process, the joy of reading and what inspired them to be a writer. 

 

This year, Rotary Read presented noted author Natasha Wing.  Ms. Wing, the author of “The Night Before Kindergarten” and its subsequent series of children’s books,  spoke to over 150  2^nd and 3^rd grade students about how she became a writer and her writing process.   The children even treated to a storytelling of “The Night Before Easter” and were reminded of the joy of reading and writing!
