Amanda Reeves' passion for family law began early on in her career as a student at Syracuse University College of Law, from which she graduated cum laude with a certificate in family law. During her legal studies, Amanda completed an internship with Colorado Legal Services, where she worked on bankruptcy matters, and also worked on disability law issues both as a student attorney in the Syracuse University College of Law Disability Rights Clinic and as a summer fellow at the Burton Blatt Institute. Prior to joining the Harris Law Firm, Amanda worked as a staff attorney at the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Working with therapists taught Amanda the importance of trying to resolve conflict in an amicable way, particularly in the context of families where relationships do not necessarily end even though they may change overtime. As a family law attorney, Amanda will strive to provide clients with the information they need to make informed decisions while helping them identify creative solutions to the unique issues presented by their cases.
Amanda is a licensed attorney in Colorado, the District of Columbia, and New York. Prior to attending law school, Amanda earned a BA in Political Science and Foreign Languages (German) from the University of Northern Colorado.
Amanda is very happy to be back in her home state of Colorado. When she is not working on behalf of clients, Amanda enjoys all that the Colorado mountains have to offer.
