Heather White was drawn to the practice of family law by her motivation to help people. While attending Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Heather participated in the Community Law Center Clinic, where she gained valuable experience advocating on behalf of children and disabled adults, as a guardian-ad-litem. Through this experience, Heather found her passion for creating solutions that achieve the best interests of children. Heather’s passion for helping people was recognized when she received the Leadership, Service and Public Interest Recognition Award from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Heather deepened her knowledge of successful problem-solving techniques when she completed mediation training through the Center for Conflict Resolution. As a trained mediator, Heather became adept at facilitating constructive dialogue between disputing parties. Heather brings the skills and perspective that she gained from her experience as a guardian-ad-litem and mediator into her family law practice.
Heather has dedicated her entire legal career to the practice of family law, handling complex cases of all kinds in the areas of divorce, resolution of parenting time, child support, asset valuations, post-decree modifications, relocation and college contribution. As an advocate, Heather uses her legal expertise to help clients successfully navigate some of life’s the most challenging circumstances. Clients appreciate that Heather pays careful attention to their unique needs and tirelessly advocates for their best interests. Aiming to make the legal process less taxing and confusing, Heather provides calm direction and support to all of her clients.
Heather’s keen understanding of the law, extensive litigation experience and creative problem-solving approach make her an effective advocate on behalf of her clients.
Prior to attending Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Heather obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Saint Louis University. When she is away from the office, Heather enjoys podcasts, yoga, biking and traveling with her fiancé.
