Megan E. Courtney is a Michigan native passionate about protecting the rights of divorce and family law clients across Colorado. As a member of the Harris Law Firm, Megan considers customer service and satisfaction to be of the utmost importance, and consistently strives to ensure clients view the attorney-client relationship as a positive, empowering experience, rather than a stressful endeavor.
Prior to joining the firm, Megan earned her undergraduate degree from Hope College, and her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law. Shortly after earning her law degree, she founded her own law firm in Colorado. After several years of handling many different types of legal matters, Megan realized her true passion lied in family law and joined The Harris Law Firm team to concentrate her work on divorce, custody, property division and other family law matters.
Megan’s legal background and her previous work in the financial services industry have made her acutely aware of the intricate ways finances play a role in all facets of law and life. Her experience proves invaluable to the firm’s clients, many of whom face considerable financial concerns related to divorce, property division, and other aspects of family law. In all cases, Megan prioritizes personalized service, efficiency in conflict resolution, and the need to ensure clients feel protected and understood.
