Rebecca L. Williams is a family law attorney with The Harris Law Firm. Coming from a place of personal experience with challenging family issues, she is able to empathize with the difficult and often painful situations family law clients face.
Rebecca comes from a position prosecuting felony criminal appeals for the Colorado Attorney General’s office. This appellate experience has afforded Rebecca sharpened skills in legal research, writing, and management. In this position, she also gained litigation experience, presenting oral arguments before the Colorado Court of Appeals. Her passion for making personal connections with clients has brought her to The Harris Law Firm.
Her prior experience also includes volunteering with the Attorney General’s post-decree family law clinic, and acting as a guardian ad litem through law school.
Rebecca attended University of South Carolina School of Law where she graduated with her Juris Doctorate in 2010. She is licensed to practice in both Colorado and South Carolina. Prior to law school, Rebecca attended Clemson University, where she double majored in History and Philosophy.
Rebecca is equipped to find the best solution in the face of even the most challenging legal issues, and working with her clients to achieve optimal case outcomes.
When she is not working, Rebecca actively works with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado as a mentor and is on the fundraising committee for Colorado Children’s Hospital Burn Camp. She also enjoys 14ers, traveling, climbing, book club, old homes, woodworking, and her labradoodle.
