Erin Eastvedt

She/Her/Hers

Erin Eastvedt is an Attorney and Counselor at Law of The Harris Law Firm who serves clients primarily from our office in Boulder, Colorado. With more than a decade of legal experience behind her, Attorney Eastvedt is always prepared to help the next client through a difficult or complex family law, divorce, or domestic violence case. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is casually conversational in German and Italian, which allows her to more conveniently represent more people.

Born in Southern California but growing up in Georgia, Erin completed her bachelor's degree at Agnes Scott College, which is near Atlanta. Afterward, she headed west again to earn her J.D. at the University of Colorado Law School. Shortly after, she was admitted to the Colorado State Bar.

As an undergraduate student, Erin first learned about the real and significant impact lawyers can have on people’s lives and society as a whole. This lesson was cemented when she was volunteering with Colorado Legal Services and challenged an alleged overpayment of Old Age Pension (OAP) benefits for her client; her successful argument that her client had not received proper notice of the overpayment ultimately set an important legal precedent that directly influenced Colorado’s interpretation of Department of Human Services regulations. More recently, Attorney Eastvedt was able to help protect her client, her client’s children, and even her client’s pets from severe domestic violence, which once again reminded her of the importance and impact of her work.

Using her genuine passion for both helping people and the correct application of the law, Erin uses a client-focused approach that is balanced with rationality and realism. She always makes sure that her clients understand the possible ripple effects that can happen with a family law court ruling or order, and what a “successful” case might really look like.

When she has spare time, Erin often volunteers to provide pro bono work. She also has served on various bar association committees throughout her career, has participated in Boulder County’s Senior Law Day (including being the chair for the event for several years), and has been the Co-Chair of the Availability of Legal Services Committee of the Boulder County Bar Association.

To relax, Erin likes to play the piano and guitar, as well as sing. When she wants to enjoy the great outdoors of Colorado, she often hikes, bikes, or swims. For truly relaxing days, Erin spends time with her family and friends or just unwinds with her cat and dogs.
