Retired Judge Angie Arkin Speaks About Her Volunteer Work

HELPING FAMILIES ACROSS COLORADO FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS
|

Each month, Retired Judge Angela “Angie” Arkin from the firm’s Denver office volunteers to provide two self-represented couples with mediation to help them resolve their family law case.

“I believe it is important that every attorney in Colorado have a commitment to provide volunteer services to our citizens in some form or fashion,” said Angie. “I am thrilled to be able to provide this service in the 18th Judicial District, the place where I sat as a District Court Magistrate and Judge for 15.5 years. I am also grateful to Rich Harris for supporting my efforts, and the volunteer efforts of all the attorneys and staff at The Harris Law Firm. Pro bono service is an expectation for all attorneys at the firm, and many attorneys and staff go above and beyond that basic level of volunteer service. I am proud to be a member of a great group of professionals who contribute so much to our community.”

Angie was honored this month by Law Week Colorado, who named her “Barrister’s Best Family Law Attorney.” Learn more about Retired Judge Angie Arkin and the Self Represented Resource Center.
