Jacquelyn Lehecka

Jackie Lehecka is an Associate Attorney at The Harris Law Firm’s Boulder office. An experienced trial lawyer and passionate advocate, Jackie handles a range of cases involving divorce, child custody, and other family law matters.

A New York native who grew up on Long Island, Jackie obtained her undergraduate degree from SUNY Buffalo and her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. After law school, she remained in Maryland and practiced in both Maryland and Washington, D.C. before moving to Colorado.

Drawn to the practice of law by her desire to help others, Jackie gained invaluable litigation experience in the field of insurance defense before transitioning solely to family law. She is passionate about being an advocate for individuals and families facing difficult and deeply personal issues and is most fulfilled when she can make a positive impact on people’s lives.

In her practice, Jackie takes a hands-on approach to guiding clients through difficult experiences and complex legal proceedings. As a child of divorce and divorcee herself, she can empathize with individuals navigating emotional turbulence, and is always willing to share encouragement and resources that ensure her clients and their children obtain the support they need outside of the litigation process.

While Jackie works diligently to promote efficiency in her clients’ cases, she has the experience to provide accurate and effective counsel through all stages of litigation. She is open, honest, and candid in assessing her clients’ situations and empowers them by clearly explaining the law and their options so they can make informed decisions. In all cases, she is mindful of providing advice and strategies that not only address immediate issues in a case, but also provide her clients with long-term resolutions.

Jackie moved to Boulder in 2021 and is enjoying getting to know the area and participating in local events like Boulder Bike Night community rides. Her hobbies include spending time outdoors with her three dogs, hiking, camping, fishing, surfing, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
