Jeffrey A. Shepard

Jeffrey A. Shepard is a successful litigator who focuses his practice on family law, primarily in the Boulder area. Jeff has considerable experience working highly contested family law matters involving families with complex financial and parenting arrangements. Through his diligence and adherence to what the law provides, he has been able to consistently achieve fair and equitable settlements for his clients.
Mr. Shepard was born in Battle Creek, MI and moved to Colorado to enjoy our great state in 2015. He received his Bachelor of Science in 1992 and Bachelor of Arts in 2009, both from Western Michigan University. In 2014, he received his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School with a focus on Property Law and Constitution Law.
Prior to earning his law degree, Jeff worked for many years in the service industry as well as in residential construction and speculation. His life experiences have provided him unique gravitas to effectively counsel real estate professionals and business owners through complex and high-stakes family law matters. Mr. Shepard has also volunteered his time and insight as a Pro Bono attorney for indigent clients in various landlord / tenant and real property matters.
Jeff has been an avid golfer since he was little and still enjoys the peace and tranquility only a round of golf can provide. When not advocating for clients, he enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, fishing, and cooking.
