Patrick Marzolino is a family law attorney of The Harris Law Firm who brings fresh ideas and strategies to each case. He is known for empowering his clients by helping them understand the ins and outs of Colorado family law that apply to their cases, so nothing ever comes as a surprise to them. He can handle divorces, family law disputes, child custody cases, and protection order cases, among others.
While living in Galesburg, Illinois, and working as a fellow for the Illinois Justice Corps, Patrick managed a legal aid office in the Knox County Courthouse, assisting pro se litigants in understanding and navigating their civil legal issues. While in this role, he realized that he wanted to take his career and passion for helping people access justice even further by becoming an attorney. From the beginning, he was committed to practicing in an ethical, compassionate, and transparent way due to the high stakes that were often found in family law and divorce cases. As he grew his practice history, Attorney Marzolino kept the focus on handling cases with empathy and clear communication, so even the most complex circumstances become smaller for his clients.
He attended Knox College to earn a B.S. in Political Science and Economics, where he graduated with Pi Sigma Alpha Honors in Political Science. Looking for a change of scenery, he was drawn to the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law to complete his J.D. In law school. During this time, he was a student attorney where he represented clients involved in protection order cases and acted as guardian ad litem for children in those cases.
Attorney Marzolino is currently admitted to the Colorado State Bar and is a member of the Denver Bar Association. He previously worked as a staff attorney where he administered Metro Volunteer Lawyer’s (MVL) Family Law Court Program and the Walk-In Legal Clinic at the Denver Indian Center. He continues to help increase access to justice in Colorado by volunteering with MVL.
In his spare time, Patrick likes to stay active with fishing, snowboarding, skiing, and other outdoor activities. He is a big fan of watching a good football game. On quieter days, he likes to read, especially about political philosophy.
