Brad and Angelina Put Their Children First

The Harris Law Firm P.C.

The recent news report that Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, whom she married about two years ago, was a surprise to their adoring public. She has asked for physical custody of their six children and cited irreconcilable differences. This is also sad news for their children and their families. The couple began their relationship in 2005 after meeting on the set of the movie, “Mr and Mrs. Smith.” They married almost a decade later, and have lived a life in the public eye ever since. They have delighted their public with their romance, their devotion to their children, and their humanitarianism on a grand scale. Their mutual fame made them a constant source of news and wonderment to their fans around the world.

An unnamed source who is close to both parties has asserted that the couple is working toward an amicable agreement regarding the property they share and a parenting plan for their children. In a statement to CNN, Pitt said that:

"I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."

Jolie is also focused on their children. Her manager has indicated that:

"Angelina will always do what's in the best interest to protect her children, and she appreciates everyone's understanding of their need for privacy at this time."
